Coverage

Coverage rates vary depending upon the condition of the existing blacktop. Estimated coverage per coat varies with surface texture and prior sealing. Refer to the product-specific information sheet to estimate the number of pails needed. Rough / road-grade asphalts with larger aggregate can cause lower than normal coverage rates. Thin coats are recommended as thick coats will result in uneven coverage, tracking, and curing problems. A second coat can be applied 24 hours after first application.
