Coverage

When placed at 1″ depth, each 50 lb pail covers approximately 5 sq ft. Coverage will vary based on actual density and application thickness.

1. Prep the repair area: Remove loose aggregate, dirt, and debris.
2. Place the patch: Overfill the repair area slightly and spread evenly.
3. Activate the product: For each 50 lb pail, pour at least 1 pint of water overtop.

Set It.

4. Compaction: Compact immediately using hand tamper, vibrating plate compactor, or roller.

Forget It.

5. Finish: Once compacted, traffic may be allowed immediately.
6. Curing: Fully cures within 24 hours under typical ambient conditions.

Most cold patch products rely on chemical solvents that evaporate over time to achieve hardness — and many never fully cure. Perma-Patch Aqua is water-activated and cures to a true permanent hardness, performing more like a hot-mix repair than a conventional cold patch.

Yes. Perma-Patch Aqua is designed to be applied in rain, snow, standing water, and temperatures ranging from 0°F to 120°F. Wet conditions are not an obstacle — the product is built for real-world maintenance situations.

Perma-Patch Aqua bonds permanently to both asphalt and concrete surfaces, making it suitable for potholes, utility cuts, edge repairs, and surface distress on roads, parking lots, driveways, warehouses, and other paved areas. It is particularly well suited for high-stress locations where tires turn on the repair, such as parking lots, driveways, and warehouse floors.

A minimum of one pint (12 oz.) of water per 50 lb. pail is required to activate the product. Using more water than the minimum will not negatively affect performance.

Clean the repair area, place the material, add the required water, and compact with a hand tamper, plate compactor, or vehicle traffic. No special equipment is needed. The repair is open to traffic immediately after compaction.

The repair is trafficable immediately after compaction. The product sets up in approximately 30 minutes and reaches full cure within 24 hours.
